VoxiBoxi is built on a simple principle: Your voice belongs to you. We don't track you. We don't upload your recordings. We don't even know you exist. This isn't just a policy—it's our architecture.
What We Collect (Nothing!)

- Voice recordings – Stored locally only
- Transcripts – Generated on-device by Apple's AI
- Settings – Your preferences, locally stored
- History – Your recording list, never uploaded

- Your voice recordings
- Your transcripts or text
- Your location or IP address
- Your contacts or photos
- Device identifiers
- Any personal information
- Analytics or usage data
How Transcription Works
When you tap "Transcribe":
- Step 1: Your audio file is read from local storage
- Step 2: Apple's Speech Framework processes it ON YOUR DEVICE
- Step 3: Text result is saved locally
- Step 4: Nothing leaves your iPhone. Ever.
We use Apple's on-device speech recognition. This means the transcription AI runs directly on your iPhone's neural engine—no cloud, no servers, no internet required.
Permissions We Request
- Microphone: To record your voice. Only active when YOU tap record.
- Speech Recognition: For on-device transcription. Apple's AI, your device.
That's it. No location. No contacts. No photos. No tracking.
Third-Party Services
VoxiBoxi v1.0 uses ZERO third-party services:
- No analytics (no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no nothing)
- No crash reporting
- No advertising SDKs
- No cloud APIs
- No network requests whatsoever
Future Cloud Features (v1.1+)
A future version may offer optional cloud-based transcription (Deepgram) for better accuracy in 100+ languages. This will be:
- Opt-in only – You explicitly choose to use it
- Pay-per-use – No subscription
- Clearly labeled – You'll always know when it's active
The FREE on-device transcription will always remain available.
Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access: All your data is already on YOUR device
- Deletion: Delete recordings anytime, or delete the app
- Portability: Export your recordings via Share function
Since we don't collect anything, there's nothing to request from us!

Wie Transkription funktioniert
Wenn du "Transkribieren" tippst:
- Schritt 1: Deine Audio-Datei wird lokal gelesen
- Schritt 2: Apples Speech Framework verarbeitet sie AUF DEINEM GERĂ„T
- Schritt 3: Das Text-Ergebnis wird lokal gespeichert
- Schritt 4: Nichts verlässt dein iPhone. Niemals.
Wir nutzen Apples On-Device Spracherkennung. Die Transkriptions-KI läuft direkt auf der Neural Engine deines iPhones—keine Cloud, keine Server, kein Internet nötig.
Berechtigungen die wir anfragen
- Mikrofon: Um deine Stimme aufzunehmen. Nur aktiv wenn DU aufnimmst.
- Spracherkennung: Für On-Device Transkription. Apples KI, dein Gerät.
Das war's. Kein Standort. Keine Kontakte. Keine Fotos. Kein Tracking.
Drittanbieter-Dienste
VoxiBoxi v1.0 nutzt NULL Drittanbieter-Dienste:
- Keine Analytics (kein Firebase, kein Mixpanel, gar nichts)
- Kein Crash-Reporting
- Keine Werbe-SDKs
- Keine Cloud-APIs
- Keinerlei Netzwerk-Anfragen
ZukĂĽnftige Cloud-Features (v1.1+)
Eine zukünftige Version könnte optionale Cloud-basierte Transkription (Deepgram) für bessere Genauigkeit in 100+ Sprachen anbieten. Das wird:
- Opt-in – Du wählst explizit, es zu nutzen
- Pay-per-use – Kein Abo
- Klar gekennzeichnet – Du weißt immer, wenn es aktiv ist
Die KOSTENLOSE On-Device Transkription bleibt immer verfĂĽgbar.
Deine Rechte (DSGVO)
Du hast das Recht auf:
- Auskunft: Alle deine Daten sind bereits auf DEINEM Gerät
- Löschung: Lösche Aufnahmen jederzeit, oder lösche die App
- DatenĂĽbertragbarkeit: Exportiere Aufnahmen via Teilen-Funktion

CĂłmo Funciona la TranscripciĂłn
Cuando tocas "Transcribir":
- Paso 1: Tu archivo de audio se lee del almacenamiento local
- Paso 2: El Speech Framework de Apple lo procesa EN TU DISPOSITIVO
- Paso 3: El resultado en texto se guarda localmente
- Paso 4: Nada sale de tu iPhone. Nunca.
Usamos el reconocimiento de voz en dispositivo de Apple. La IA de transcripción funciona directamente en el motor neural de tu iPhone—sin nube, sin servidores, sin internet necesario.
Permisos que Solicitamos
- MicrĂłfono: Para grabar tu voz. Solo activo cuando TĂš grabas.
- Reconocimiento de Voz: Para transcripciĂłn en dispositivo. IA de Apple, tu dispositivo.
Eso es todo. Sin ubicaciĂłn. Sin contactos. Sin fotos. Sin rastreo.
Servicios de Terceros
VoxiBoxi v1.0 usa CERO servicios de terceros:
- Sin analytics (sin Firebase, sin Mixpanel, sin nada)
- Sin reportes de fallos
- Sin SDKs de publicidad
- Sin APIs en la nube
- Sin solicitudes de red de ningĂşn tipo
Futuras Funciones en la Nube (v1.1+)
Una versiĂłn futura podrĂa ofrecer transcripciĂłn en la nube opcional (Deepgram) para mejor precisiĂłn en más de 100 idiomas. Esto será:
- Opt-in – TĂş eliges explĂcitamente usarlo
- Pago por uso – Sin suscripción
- Claramente etiquetado – Siempre sabrás cuando está activo
La transcripción en dispositivo GRATUITA siempre permanecerá disponible.
Tus Derechos (RGPD)
Tienes derecho a:
- Acceso: Todos tus datos ya están en TU dispositivo
- EliminaciĂłn: Elimina grabaciones cuando quieras, o elimina la app
- Portabilidad: Exporta tus grabaciones via funciĂłn Compartir
